PREFACE
this account is private & semi-exclusive. this means there are certain characters who i will not write with duplicates of. this allows me to focus on building a relationship and a storyline without it becoming repetitive. i used to not ask for reciprocity when listing exclusivity, and simply chose to not write with duplicates of a certain character, but i have decided to stop doing this. in short, it's all or nothing. if we're exclusive, i will not write with other versions of your muse, & i require this in return.
i will not be exclusive with tony stark. i have developed storylines and relationships with each of the tonys that i write with and it would be incredibly unfair to change that now. (i've been on the other side and i know how it feels!)
in addition to exclusives, i have mains. a main is someone who i haven't become fully-exclusive with, but i write mainly with their version of a character (or only with their character by choice). if you write the same muse as someone who i already have a main for, don't worry! we can absolutely still write together if we're mutuals. mains are just how i prioritise threads and plots.
all ships, with the exception of tony stark, are EXCLUSIVE.
if you are interested in becoming exclusive with me, please drop me an ask. if we have written together enough, and talk ooc for plotting purposes, i'm absolutely open to it! please keep in mind that if we're exclusive, your character will become part of pepper's mainverse, & also i will probably never leave you alone. muahaha.

this blog is 100% private. this means i do not interact with anyone i do not follow, no exceptions. i check out new followers fairly regularly, so if i have not followed you back within a reasonable amount of time, you can safely assume i am not interested in writing with you. if you choose to follow me despite this, please do not force interactions upon pepper. this means do not like starter calls, do not send in in-character asks/memes, and do not expect a response if you do so anyway.

i am extremely picky when it comes to following back. i have a blogroll of around 50-60 and i rarely pass that. i look for strong characterisation, capable grammar/spelling, and avoid purple prose like the plague. my own writing is not overly descriptive -- and i find writing opposite someone whose prose requires me to have a dictionary open is detrimental to my muse. you do you, of course, but i won't follow back.

* i reply VERY QUICKLY. seriously, if i'm around when it pops up on my dash, expect an instant reply. it's how i work, and while i'm trying to make more effort to utilise the queue, it's my preference. please do not take it as pressure to reply quickly -- it's just so i don't have drafts sitting around which stresses me out.

if we have been in a mutual follow for some time and have yet to actually interact, i will unfollow. i post a fairly regular stream of opens, memes, and starter calls to facilitate first-time interactions easily, and of course my inbox is always open for plotting.

there is a specific pepper who i have had issues with (in that she keeps ripping off my headcanons, promos, etc) and if you write with her, i will not follow you. if you start writing with her, i will unfollow.

please do not ask me why i have unfollowed you.

exclusivity

* this blog is now leaning heavily towards exclusivity. i no longer write with duplicates with the exception of tony stark. chances are if you see me writing with a version of your muse already, i'm not looking for another. my list of exclusives can be found by clicking the star on pepper's palm.

shipping

i ship with CHEMISTRY. my pepper is pansexual and will explore non-canon relationships with any gender, though her preferences lean towards men. pepper is not the type to have a one-night stand or a fling, so all relationships will be developed with discussion from both muns. i ship pepperony and am more than happy to write with tonys in that capacity, but please do not assume they are in a relationship upon following, as it's dependent on chemistry.

all non-canon ships (eg. black pepper) are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE. i will not ship with other versions of your muse, and i ask that you do not ship with other peppers.

triggers & nsfw

both pepper and the mun are over 21 years of age. smut will happen on this blog, and will be tagged nsfw for blacklisting purposes. sometimes it's under a cut, sometimes it's not. i go with my partner's preferences.

the first three are my personal triggers, the rest are general triggers for the safety of your own followers. i tag common triggers but if i have missed something, please let me know asap.

other pet peeves

* while i do not enforce reblog karma, i am not just a blog to mine memes, quotes, and other content from. please do not use me as a handy resource for the sake of your character's aesthetic. personal blogs are welcome to follow, but do not reblog any original content (headcanons, edits) unless i tag it with permission to do so. i am liberal with using the block function to keep my dashboard clean and my activity feed organised -- do not tempt me. i tend to block personal blogs and other pepper accounts when they follow me due to my content being reblogged/stolen.

formatting and threads

* i use 100x100 icons in my replies. please do not use large gifs; it looks awful on my theme and slows things down. i use small text but not sub/sup -- if you want to, that's fine. if you use unformatted text i will make it small when i reply, as i like having things consistent in my theme.

* i can write anything from icon chats/one liners up to novella. however, i really only write multi-para/novella with long-term partners as i do not want to invest so much time and energy into a thread that could possibly be dropped.

* please do not reblog ask memes to turn them into a thread. i won't reply.

oc children

pepper does not have children. no exceptions. in the comics, while pepper did struggle with infertility and very much wanted to start a family with happy, they were unsuccessful. i may touch briefly on themes of loss and longing in other threads taking place in my 616 verse if it's relevant. in terms of my mainverse, which is mcu, pepper does not have nor want children, whether it's with tony or with other characters. she is a career-driven woman in her 40s, and it's not something she is interested in. this is non-negotiable, and as pregnancy in general is a major squick for me, i will not write it.

i do not follow oc children of any other avengers. period.

i do not follow: genderbend/rule!63 of canon characters, multi-muse blogs, other peppers, other characters with the same FCs as mine (gwyneth paltrow, sarah rafferty, jane levy), known drama llamas, human personifications of inanimate objects/emotions/concepts, personal blogs, and muses/characters that i personally dislike. i am also not a fan of m/m slash and if your blog is primarily along those lines, i'll hesitate to follow back. (before you call me homophobic, i'm actually queer myself so shush.)
